This course consists of two components; online theory and attendance at a practical assessment training day.

You must complete the pre-course theory prior to attending the practical course.

Group Training Options

Metropolitan: $850.00 for a group of up to 10 people and then $80.00 per additional participant (11 to 20)

Information about this course

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.

Prerequisite: There are no pre requisites for this course.

Nationally Recognised Training in partnership with and under the auspices of Allen's Training Pty Ltd
Registered Training Organisation (RTO) 90909.

Target Audience:
Those who are required to provide an emergency first aid response in a workplace

Award Issued:
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded with the statement of attainment for:

  • HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID001 Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • CPR Requirements:
    Due to changes by the National Skills Standard Council (NSSC) in the First Aid Health Package, students are now required to kneel on the floor to perform CPR on a training manikin for a minimum of 2 minutes.
