This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
The course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.
Prerequisite: There are no pre requisites for this course.

CPR Requirements:
Due to changes by the National Skills Standard Council (NSSC) in the First Aid Health Package, students are now required to kneel on the floor to perform CPR on a training manikin for a minimum of 2 minutes.
